1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the services provided by HAMPSTEAD RENOVATIONS, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Our Services
HAMPSTEAD RENOVATIONS provides professional renovation, refurbishment, plumbing, electrical, and general building services across North London and surrounding areas. All work is carried out by qualified tradespeople in accordance with relevant building regulations and industry standards.
3. Quotes and Pricing
- All quotes are provided free of charge and are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
- Quotes are based on the information provided and a site survey where applicable.
- Additional work discovered during the project may incur additional charges, which will be discussed and agreed upon before proceeding.
- Payment terms will be outlined in the project agreement.
4. Project Agreements
All projects will be subject to a written agreement that outlines the scope of work, timeline, payment schedule, and other relevant terms. This agreement must be signed by both parties before work commences.
5. Warranties and Guarantees
- All workmanship is guaranteed for a minimum of 12 months from completion.
- Materials and products carry their manufacturer's warranty.
- Gas and electrical work is certified and registered with relevant bodies (Gas Safe, NICEIC).
- Warranty claims must be reported within 7 days of discovery.
6. Insurance
HAMPSTEAD RENOVATIONS maintains comprehensive public liability insurance and employer's liability insurance. Certificates are available upon request.
7. Access and Site Conditions
- Clients must provide safe and reasonable access to the work area.
- We require access to water, electricity, and toilet facilities during the project.
- Any hazardous materials (e.g., asbestos) discovered must be reported immediately.
- Clients are responsible for moving valuable or fragile items from the work area.
8. Cancellation and Changes
- Cancellations must be made in writing at least 48 hours before scheduled work.
- Changes to the scope of work must be agreed in writing and may affect the price and timeline.
- A cancellation fee may apply for late cancellations or no-shows.
9. Complaints Procedure
If you are not satisfied with any aspect of our service, please contact us immediately. We will investigate and respond to all complaints within 14 days. Our aim is to resolve any issues to your satisfaction.
10. Limitation of Liability
Our liability is limited to the value of the contract. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or fraud.
11. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
