Bespoke Kitchen
In-frame cabinetry in hand-sprayed verdigris, Nero Marquina marble surfaces, Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances, and antique brass cup handles and knobs.
A premium-specification refurbishment of a lateral apartment within a Georgian townhouse on Grosvenor Street — the heart of the Grosvenor Estate — delivering restored period detailing, a bespoke Smallbone-grade kitchen, book-matched marble bathrooms, and a finish standard commensurate with one of London’s most valuable addresses.
Grosvenor Street sits at the centre of the Grosvenor Estate in Mayfair. The freeholder requires all interior works to meet exacting heritage standards, and the client’s expectations exceeded even those requirements.
The apartment occupies the principal floor of a Grade II listed Georgian townhouse, with 3.4-metre ceilings, original panelled shutters, and a sequence of interconnecting reception rooms that retain their 18th-century proportions. The previous refurbishment was twenty years old and had introduced finishes that were neither sympathetic to the building nor befitting the address.
The design stripped the interior back to its Georgian bones and rebuilt around them. Panelled joinery was restored and redecorated in heritage colours. The kitchen was designed as a piece of furniture — in-frame cabinetry in hand-sprayed verdigris with honed Nero Marquina marble surfaces, integrated Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances, and antique brass fittings. Both bathrooms were lined in book-matched Calacatta marble with heated floors and Lefroy Brooks brassware.
Bespoke curtains, hand-finished plasterwork, restored fireplaces, and a museum-grade lighting scheme completed the transformation. The apartment now presents at a level consistent with the finest Mayfair residences, while remaining a genuinely warm and comfortable place to live.

The freeholder maintains strict design guidelines for the estate. Our proposals were reviewed by the estate’s own architect before work could begin.
Sourcing two slabs with matching veining for the principal bathroom required a visit to the quarry agent in Carrara and a specific block reservation.
The apartment now presents at the very highest level — a home where the Georgian architecture and contemporary luxury feel entirely natural together.
